Financial Policy:

Our financial policy is designed to help treat all clients equally and fairly. We’ve learned from experience that clear communication avoids any potential problems later on in our relationship. Please read the following carefully. Co-payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash and credit or debit card.  We are more than happy to process your insurance billing for you. Please remember that insurance policies are a contract between your insurance company and yourself. If, during the course of your treatment, there are changes in your policy, please notify us as soon as possible to avoid any potential billing problems. Your health plan will only pay for services that it determines reasonable and necessary. These services are outlined in the explanations of benefits provided by your insurance carrier under your benefit plan. If your health plan determines that a particular service, although deemed important to you by your physician and yourself, is not reasonable and necessary under your health plan standards, you will be denied by your carrier. Any services your insurance does not cover, you are responsible for paying the balance in full. Each patient should check with their insurance provider to understand their specific benefits.

Patients without insurance, or with insurance we are not in network with, will be asked for payment at the time of their appointment and are given a time of service (TOS) discount. The TOS discount may also be known as a bookkeeping/prompt-pay/self-pay discount and is allowed under WA State law. In that case, we are happy to provide you with a bill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement if you have out-of-network coverage for our services. To simplify pricing information for the general public, the prices listed on this page include the TOS discount. We accept cash, checks, debit cards, and all major credit cards.

For more information about insurance we accept please visit the Insurance and Billing page here.

Please note: Health insurance will typically only cover one hour of massage on any given date of service, as such we will only bill up to one hour and any longer sessions will be subject to our Time-of-Service rate and will not be billed to insurance.

Cancellation and Missed Appointments Policy

We understand there may be extenuating circumstances; however, we request that any cancellation or rescheduling of your appointment be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled visit. Missed appointments or appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance can prevent us from serving others in need and disrupt our practitioner’s schedules.

The fee for missed acupuncture, massage and yoga therapy appointments late cancellation is $100.

Please note that insurance does not pay for cancellation or missed appointment fees.

Payment is due on the date of service.
