Licensed medical professionals with Point Injection Therapy (PIT) in their scope of practice can practice Acupoint Injection Therapy (APIT) once they have received the proper training according to their state licensing board’s requirements. The Introduction to Acupoint Injection Therapy course is designed to fulfill the requirements for WA, NV, CO, UT, MT and MD to practice APIT as a licensed acupuncturist. Please check with your state licensing board for more information on practicing APIT in your state.
Note: Maryland state is in the process of adding PIT to the scope of practice for licensed acupuncturists, and our course meets the training requirements outlined in their proposal.
